PROPERTIES &
USES:
Therapeutic: Antibacterial,
antiseptic, antispasmodic,
carminative, digestant, diuretic, expectorant,
insecticide,
stimulant, tonic
Medical: Internal - Anxiety,
asthma, difficult breathing,
bronchial spams, colic, dry cough, flatulence,
fluid retention,
indigestion, migrane nausea, tension vomiting.
External: Asthma, bronchial
congestion, coughs, exhaustion,
headache, insect bites, sinus problems,
stress
Industry & Household uses:
Pharmaceutical uses in cough
mixtures, lozenges, to mask odors and
flavors in drugs; soft
drinks, food flavoring, soaps toothpaste,
cosmetics and perfumes.
Anise is used by many fishermen to mask the smell of the
human body. It helps the fish to bite better!!
Hunter's use anise oil to hide the smell of the human scent too.
Blends with: Rose
lavender, orange, pine and other spice oils.
Cautions:
Use in moderation as this oil can slow down circulation.
*Any essential oils - ingested in large
amounts can be fatal.*
*Keep out of reach of children.*
BLENDS TO TRY
FOR Your Bath
To help open up sinuses and congestion
4 drops Eucalyptus
4 drops Chamomile
3 drops Anise
3 drops Lemon
1 drop Petitgrain
5 ml of carrier oil
Blend these oils together then -
While drawing a bath use 5-6 drops of blend
in
the running water and enjoy!
FOR your Massage
after a hectic and crazy day!
6 drops Anise
3 drops Rose attar
6 drops Nutmeg
60 ml of carrier oil
Massage into upper chest, back of neck,
across shoulders
and mid back. This is one massage oil
Al likes.
Use it to relieve stress and for calming.
