Better Smelling Garbage Containers

Smelly Garbage Bins - a cheap easy solution!

After removing the garbage from the bin. Rinse/wash with a solution of hot water containing several drops of Eucalyptus or Tea Tree .

Both of these oils not only deodorize but will suppress the growth of molds and mildew.  They also kill other germs too!  Don't forget to add 1 drop to the bin every now and again! 

Although you can use any essential oil to give you a better smelling garbage bin, using these too oils will help since they kill the germs that cause the awful smell.

Feel free to add any essential oil to your bins but remember the 'lock and key' system of your sense of smell may associate the smell of garbage with that of your favorite essentail oil. So be careful with the oils you choose!!
