MASSAGE OIL FOR MUSCULAR−SKELETAL PAIN. (especially good for lower back pain.)

15 ml (1 tablespoon) Sweet almond
4 drops Wintergreen
4 drops Cardamom
4 drops Ginger

Mix together well and use to massage any area that gets muscle pain. I have a birth defect in my spine that causes me a lot of lower back pain.. This recipe works really well to ease the pain, & it gives me more mobility. Massage in thoroughly, but gently.

DE−TANGLE CONDITIONING HAIR SPRAY.

150mls distilled water
20 drops Lavender
20 dropsRosemary
20 drops Carrotseed (cold pressed )
5 ml Emulsifier or solubaliser

Put distilled water in a spray bottle. Add emulsifier and shake well, then add oils and shake again thoroughly. Use when hair is wet or dry. Spray enough to slightly dampen hair (if it is dry) and gently brush or comb hair. De tangles and conditions hair without leaving any residue. For some hair it may also control frizziness. Can be used whenever you brush your hair in between washes.

SHOO the MONSTERS AWAY BEDTIME SPRAY

Bedtime sprays for Children (and adults too) Often times children and adults have a difficult time drifting off to sleep or darkness can make the night a 'scary' place.

Make a Bedtime Spray of a mix of the following essential oils in a 8 ounce bottle of distilled water.
12 drops Roman Chamomile
12 drops Lavender and
8 drops Orange
30 drops of Emulsifier

Mix and spritz on the pillow and in the air in the room.

This mixture is good where "monsters' hide too! :−)
Mix the Essential oils with the emulsifier, blend well then add to the distilled water, shake well before spraying!

SORE MUSCLES 4

Bay laurel − 4 drops
Rosemary − 4 drops
Eucalyptus −4 drops
Ylang Ylang − 3 drops
15 ml carrier oil of your choice

Blend oils in amber bottle, shake and massage onto sore muscles.

STRESS & STRAIN SOOTHER

Lavender − 3 drops
Marjoram − 3 drops
15 ml carrier oil or unscented lotion

Blend and mix. This blend will help to ease tight muscles and relax a tense mind.

Recipe from The Fragrant Veil − By Elizabeth Millar

SCENTS−UAL TOUCH MASSAGE OIL

Ginger − 8 drops
Myrrh − 5 drops
Jasmine − 2 drops (see note)
Cardamom − 1 drop
2 ounces of your favorite carrier oil

Mix all oils together and give one another a slow sensual massage. Please allow plenty of time!

NOTE: If using our 10% dilution of Jasmine you will need to add approximately 20 drops of the Jasmine absolute 10%

DRY SKIN FORMULA

Jojoba − 1 teaspoon
Camellia oil − 1 teaspoon
Sesame oil − 1 teaspoon
Carrotseed essential oil − 25 drops
Sandalwood − 6 drops
Neroli − 4 drops
Geranium − 2 drops

Blend all ingredients in a 1 oz bottle, shake well to mix. Apply 4 − 6 drops of blend twice a day to dry area.

HAIR LOSS RECIPE

Jojoba 1 TBS
Sweet almond 1 TBS
Carrotseed 40 drops
Lavenderoil 10 drops
Clary Sage 6 drops
Roman Chamomile 4 drops
Rosemary 4 drops

Blend all ingredients in a clean bottle. Shake well and warm before using. Apply a few drops into scalp, leave overnight or until absorbed in. Apply several times a week.

SUNBURN RELIEF

Jojoba − 2 oz
Aloe Vera gel − 2 oz
Helichrysum − 25 drops
Lavender − 60 drops

Blend together − store in a cool place. Apply as needed.

BRUISES

Sweet almond − 2 teaspoons
Helichrysum − 2 drops
Tangerine or Mandarin−2 drops

Mix all oils together and lightly massage into injured area to avoid bruising and swelling.

PERFUME BLEND

Helichrysum 20 drops
Clary Sage− 10 drops
Bergamot − 10 drops
Lavender 10 drops
Clove bud − 5 drops
Rose Otto 5 drops
Vanilla in Jojoba 25 drops
1 ounce Jojoba

Blend all ingredients. Let this blend for about a week or more.

Keep Bugs Away

Vinegar − 4 oz
Eucalyptus − 50 drops
Spearmint − 25 drops
Lemon − 25 drops

Blend all ingredients in a spray bottle, shake well to mix. Spray around baseboards etc, to keep bugs away.

REFRESHING AIR SPRAY

Grapefruit 40 drops
Petitgrain and 40 drops
Peppermint 40 drops
Lime 30 drops
water − 4 oz

Blend all ingredients in a spray bottle, shake well to mix. Spray in air for a really nice aroma

CARPET FRESHENER

30 drops Eucalyptus
30 drops Cinnamon Leaf
30 dropsLemongrass
10 drops Clove bud
1/2 cup bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)

Blend all oils and soda in a wide mouth jar and close lid and let set for 24 hours. Sprinkle over carpet and let sit for 10 15 minutes then vacuum.
