DETOXIFYING BATH Geranium − 2 dropsRosemary 2 drops Juniper Berry − 2 drops Lavender − 2 drops Mix together in an amber bottle. Then add 5−8 drops to bath. You might want to mix a larger quantity so you can use on a weekly basis. Recipe adapted from Aromatherapy Handbook for Beauty, Hair, and Skin Care by Erich Keller |
A STEAM BATH FOR OILY SKIN AND ACNE Juniper Berry − 6 dropsLemon − 4 drops Cypress − 4 drops Add the above essential oils to a bowl of Very Hot water. Hold a towel over your head and bend over the bowl, draping the towel over the bowl so the steam does not escape. This will help to stimulate the skin on your face. After 5−10 minutes rinse your face with tepid − cool water. Pat dry. Recipe adapted from Aromatherapy Handbood for Beauty, Hair, and Skin Care by Erich Keller |

FOOT DEODORIZING POWDER Sage − 2 dropsCoriander − 2 drops Spearmint − 2 drops Talc Powder − 2 ounce Baking soda − 1 tablespoon Open the bottle of Talc Powder and add the baking soda. Shake well. Then add the drops of essential oil to a cotton pad or ball and drop inside the talc/baking soda bottle. Shake well and let sit for a couple days before using. Apply to your feet and inside your shoes. |
MEDITATION Myrrh − 4 dropsSandalwood − 6 drops Frankincense − 10 drops Clove bud − 2 drops Cistus − 2 drops Clary Sage − 6 drops Rose Otto − 2 drops Blend oils in amber bottle, shake well. Add 2−6 drops to you diffuser for use while meditating. If you have a large room, you may need to use more oil in the diffuser. The oils in this blend are very soothing and relaxing. |

STRESS BUSTER Lavender − 6 dropsRoman Chamomile − 4 drops Ylang Ylang − 4 drops Blend these oils together in an amber bottle. You can easily double or triple this recipe. This blend is wonderful to use in any personal diffuser such as the Terra Cotta Disc that can be set next to your work are or in a Personal inhaler. Inhale as needed. This blend of oils is very calming and will help you relax and feel happy. |
MENSTRAL CRAMP RELEIF Clary Sage − 4 dropsFennel 2 drops Geranium − 2 drops 1 tablespoon of your favorite carrier oil Mix all oils together − Rub gently on your abdomen as needed. (This recipe comes from Aromatherapy through the Seasons by J. Fitzsimmons and P. Bousquet) |

SPRINGTIME COLD RELEIF Eucalyptus − 4 dropsGeranium − 4 drops Peppermint − 4 drops Rosemary − 4 drops Blend all ingredients in an amber bottle. This blend can then be used in an Personal inhaler. Or add to a bath − only about 4 drops. or add 8 drops to 1 ounce of carrier oil and rub on chest, neck or any other area you desire. |
ENERGIZE ME!!! Lavender − 8 dropsLemon − 2 Lemon Orange − 6 drops Rosemary − 4 drops Blend these well in an amber bottle. Then diffuse in the air as needed. Or place in a Personal inhaler. |

FIRST AID SKIN WASH AND/OR CREAM Roman Chamomile − 4 dropsGeranium − 6 drops Lavender − 6 drops Lemon − 4 drops Tea Tree − 2 drops Blend together − store in a cool place. Add several drops to a basin of tepid water. Use this to cleanse the wound area. Alternately, you can add this blend to 1 ounce of Sorbolene Cream , blend well and then you can apply a light coating of this several times a day if needed to the wound. |
ALL PURPOSE REFRESHING − DISINFECTING BLEND Lavender − 20 dropsPeppermint − 10 drops Tea Tree − 10 drops Mix all oils together in an amber bottle. Add 8 drops to 1 ml of Emulsifier . Shake well then add to 2 cups of distilled water. Put all in a spray bottle. You can use this spray to clean and disinfect the air. Simply use as a room spray as needed. It is a light refreshing scent. This blend of essential oils can also be added to your laundry. Apply several drops to a small cloth and toss in your clothes dryer. If you prefer you can add several drops to the final rinse of your clothes washer too. |

SIMPLE SLEEP BLEND Lavender 1 dropBergamot − 1 drop Place these on a tissue and place between your pillow case and pillow. Nighty night! |
ON THE BUG BITE BLEND Roman Chamomile − 2 dropsEucalyptus 3 drops Lavender − 3 drops Peppermint − 1 drop Blend well, then add to 1 ounce cider vinegar. Apply or dab on with a cotton ball to the insect bite area. Can be used several times a day as needed. |

FATIGUE RELIEF DIFFUSER BLEND Grapefruit − 4 dropsPeppermint − 6 drops Rosemary − 5 drops Blend all ingredients inamber bottle, shake well to mix. Then plce in your favorite diffuser Can also be used in a Personal inhaler (Recipe adapted from 500 Recipes by Schiller and Schiller) |
MUSCLE SORENESS MASSAGE OIL Ylang Ylang − 20 dropsGinger − 20 drops Nutmeg 12 drops Rosemary 8 drops 2 ounces of Sweet almond Blend all essential oils together, then add to the sweet Almond oil. Warm oil slightly and massage into sore muscles. (500 formulas for Aromatherapy by Schiller and Schiller) |
