We are asked quite often on how to help repell ticks. Ticks are tough little insects (bugs) to repell. Especially since they crawl on the tips of their short legs. We have had reports that Palmarosa works great when applied to your Dogs collar.
Even dogs that spend a great deal of time out doors. As for other blends? You can try our Bug OFF Blend. A few drops of that put on your dogs collar may work well too.

Unscented Soy/beeswax tart - Place the tart in the Electric oil warmer, then add the drops of essential oils to the top of tart. Turn on your warmer.
Once the tart has melted, gently stir the oils and melted wax together. Diffuse for desired length of time, but please note, these are all fairly strong oils and you may only want the diffuser heating for about an hour.
After that the essential oils will continue to diffuse into the air until the wax solidfies again.
You should be able to diffuse this a couple of times before having to add more essential oils to your warmer.
