The Melt & Pour Soap comes in Opaque White at this time. You can color your soap to any color you so desire!

It is simple, easy and fast to make your own scented soaps. Or you can leave it unscented too.
Using this all natural Melt & Pour Soap base is very easy.
Simply place the Soap block in top of a double boiler (the double boilers base is filled with water
and heated to a low simmer) and let the soap melt slowly in the top pan. Stir gently as it melts.
Or as an alternative you can place the soap block in a glass bowl and use your microwave
oven at 50% power to slowly melt the soap too. DO NOT LET THE SOAP BOIL or it will be ruined!
Check the temperature using any cooking thermometer (preferably a digital)
often to keep the temperature under 155 degrees or so until it is all the soap is melted.
Remove from the heat source (or microwave)and start to cool, stir occasionally.
Then once it is cooled to about 130 degrees, add your essential oils and gently stir in.
Pour into the molds. Spritz with a little rubbing alcohol to 'pop' any of the little bubbles
that may be on the surface.
Now the following is the hardest part - that of being patient for the soap to cool. It can take 12 to 24
hours for it to cool enough to allow you to be able to remove the soap from the mold.
Once it is out of the mold it is ready for use.
If you don't need 'all the bars' right at the moment,
then you need to wrap them in a 'saran' type wrap to prevent them
accumulating moisture.
Because the soap has glycerine as one of the ingredients it 'attracts' moisture and the 'bars' of soap
can become very soft, especially in warm humid conditions.

These 1 lb blocks can be cut in to smaller pieces using a large
cheese block cutter.
Or as is usually done, they can be melted in a double boiler or slowly melted in a microwave to
be poured into any number of soap mold shapes!
Easy to follow instructions included with each order.
Can be scented using essential oils if desired. For scent sensitive people,
just leave unscented.
It is suggested to use between 2 mL to 10 mL per 1 lb of melted M & P soap to scent.
ALWAYS start with the smaller amount as you can always "add more (scenting) but you can't take it out"!
As with any soap - an inherant odor is present due to the ingredients used to
make the product.

Coconut Oil,
Palm Oil,
Safflower Oil,
Glycerine (kosher, of vegetable origin),
Purified Water,
Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent),
Sorbitol (moisturizer),
Sorbitan oleate (emulsifier),
Soy bean protein (conditioner),
Titanium Dioxide (mineral whitener used in opaque soaps)

I just want to tell you that today I am experiencing with the soaps (1 pound oatmeal today) I purchased.
The aroma in the house is wonderful.
Going into ths kind of blind-thank goodness you put some instructions with the soaps!
I used the candy thermometer and didn't go passed 155 degrees and added scent at 140.
The soap poured very nice and is sitting on my counter looking like my masterpiece!
I can't wipe the smile off my face, with wonderful scent all around, and I can't wait to unmold sometime tomorrow!
( Oh, and the little mist of alcohol did wonders!)

sizes are available - pricing on request.)
Our competitors don't want to be bothered selling the small quantities but we
are more than happy to provide the smaller sizes.

One of my favorite uses is a combination of basil, peppermint, tea tree, and nutmeg.
You can add more of the scent you most prefer. I use it on my diffusers,
it helps the family during the cold and flu months! You can also add lavender to tone it down.
