Using Essential oils to Help Stimulate your Concentration

There are several essential oils that can be used to stimulate your brain for Concentration. As with many things in life there are several situations where you may feel a need to increase your concentration.

Long lectures, important board meetings, seminars just to name a few. Or if you have a busy afternoon at work. Especially after lunch when some folks have a tendency to become sleepy. This a the time you may want to try diffusing some oils in your personal work space to stimulate your brain and concentration.

Some businesses find diffusing essential oils in the office during the afternoon is a very inexpensive, pleasant way to increase productivity. Using essential oils is a very wonderful way to stimulate and increase concentration. Essential oils can be used safely during the afternoon to stimulate your mind or that of your co-workers.

Simply diffuse a few oils throughout the room for everyone to enjoy or you may want to place on a tissue and sniff occasionally. Personal diffusers are available for use on your desk or near your work space.

Known stimulating essential oils include Basil, Eucalyptus citriodora, Eucalyptus radiata, Grapefruit, Lemon, Patchouli, Peppermint, Spearmint, Ylang Ylang and Rosemary.

The bolded oils are the most commonly used. A few more oils that work for a few or are added to blends include, Bergamot, Cypress, Coriander, Ginger, Geranium , Neroli, Palmarosa.

Again, Aromatherapy is not necessarily an exact science and what works for one person may not be the perfect oil for another. Here is a blend you might want to use to help stimulate concentration in the office.

CONCENTRATION BLEND
Lemon - 20 drops
Basil - 6 drops
Rosemary - 2 drops
Mix oils then diffuse into the air.

Another of PENNY'S FAVORITE BLENDS is a simple blend of
Grapefruit 10 - 15 drops
Spearmint - 5-10 drops
This blend will often times smell like one of the Wrigley's chewing gums and is a very pleasant scent to use in any home or office. It is wonderful to stimulate and give you the pick me up you will need in the afternoon or any time of the day!
