Birch Hill Happenings Aromatherapy Presents  Essential Oil of YLANG YLANG - Cananga odorata >>>>>>OIL THIS ISSUE<<<<<< YLANG YLANG - Cananga odorata - "Flower of flowers" Part used: Flowers Country of Origin: Indonesia, Phillippines, Comore Islands How processed: Steam distillation Smell: Flowery, fruity, sweet Note: Middle to base note PROPERTIES: Medicinal - antiseptic- antidepressant - aphrodisiac - sedative COMMON USES: This oil is used in perfumery and cosmetics besides aromatherapy. BLENDS WITH: Just about everything - citus, jasmine, lavender, rose, sandalwood and many more. CAUTIONS: Avoid if there is a history of low blood pressure or apnea. In some people may cause a dermatitis - do not apply undiluted to the skin. As with any essential oils - ingested in large amounts can be fatal. Keep out of reach of children.     >>>>>>HELPFUL HINT<<<<<< Remember to use "Distilled" water only when blending to make sprays. >>>>>>>BLENDS TO TRY<<<<<< For your Spray bottle: 2 drops citronella, 2 drops bergamot 2 drops frankincense, 2 drops lemon 4 drops lavender 2 ounces of distilled water Pour blend into bottle, shake well and mist into your home. Caution - do not spray onto furniture. .......................
