The STRESS of TAX Season,
Essential oils to the Rescue!

Yep, it’s that time of year and hopefully you are all finished with the income taxes BUT, if not, we can hopefully make a few suggestions to help you be mentally prepared and less stressed.

Stress during anytime of year can make life unpleasant. But when you have lots of ‘numbers’ staring at you it can be worse. The suggestions that follow though can be used when ever you are dealing with stress.

Concentrating on your task at hand may be made better by using a blend of mental stimulating essential oils.

Rosemary, Lemon and Basil are best known to help with concentration and mental alertness. So you may want to start with those. Citrus oils like Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit and Lime can keep you alert. Mandarin, Tangerine and Neroli may help to keep you calm inside.

I like the mints and for me when I need mental clarity and to stay focused, the favorite blend for me is Grapefruit and Spearmint. Just drop several drops of each essential oil on a Terra Cotta Disc Diffuser or a fan diffuser and place by your desk or table. It will diffuse slowly yet effectively while you are working.

Some of our synergy blends that may help include Concentration blend and Brain Energy. These two blends are specifically for use with mental energy. Of course Elation blend, Inspiration blend, Invigorating blend, Mint Energizing blend and Enlighten blend may also help you stay focused.

Tight shoulders and neck? Try rubbing any massage blend on your tight muscles. Or you can just smell any calming blend. If using a Synergy blend dilute with a lotion, cream or oil and dab and rub some on your wrist pulse point and sniff away.

Remember to take breaks while you are filling out all those forms. And when you are finally finished take a long hot bath with some added Bath Salts, Calming Blend and simply sit back and enjoy.

Whether or not you have taxes yet to prepare or are already done (Yeah!) using the D-Stress stick rub-on any time of the day will help you feel less tense and more relaxed.

Stress Relief Blend

Try this blend to help with mild stress

Rosemary- 15 drops
Mandarin - 15 drops
Ylang-Ylang - 5 drops

Mix in an amber bottle. Diffuse as needed. This can be used in a Personal Nasal inhaler or in a fan diffuser or Tealight diffuser. This is a very uplifting, yet calming blend.
